A little about me

Thanks for stopping by. For the past 10 years, I’ve built and advised small businesses in deep space, blockchain, VR, immersive design and more. Last year I founded a space research company, where I was proud to design an open-source lunar radio and lunar mining robot.

I am a curious and creative thinker, which has proven a valuable asset in my career. I believe the best companies arise from novel perspectives and unusual backgrounds, and strive to integrate my diverse experiences.

2021

Cislune

As a founder, I developed the strategic vision for the company, wrote competitive grant proposals, and led the engineering team. I partnered with NASA Kennedy Space Center to develop a robot that utilized in-situ resource utilization for mining lunar water ice and metals.

The company was awarded a 2021 & 2022 NASA Phase I STTR, as well as a grant from the National Science Foundation in 2021.

2020 – Present

Metalunar

I am founder and owner of Metalunar, a collective that consults for deep space technology startups. We provide systems, GNC, robotics / motion control and software engineering. Our team also writes and advises on grant proposals, fundraising and business operations.

2020

Liminalia

Founding member. I organized and structured the company as it grew from conception to a full client base. I designed and produced immersive online events, creating a wiki for artists and attendees explaining how and where to engage in the decentralized digital format.

Clients included Burning Man and Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

2018 – 2021

Trebuchat

I was founder and led operations & marketing. We built an interactive multiplayer experience in virtual reality (VR) for remote team project management. We were accepted into the Oculus Launchpad (2020) to build a fully immersive language-learning experience, Vernacular.

2015 – 2020

Chelsea McMahon Consulting

I built internal structure for over 100 clients to streamline efficient, fluid operations within organizations. I worked with visionaries to develop impactful products to generate tangible results, from service to software. Leading workshops to female entrepreneurs on how to systematize marketing and establish business goals was a highlight.
